The SR20DET engine's factory oil block tends to fail due to the weak oil filter sensor screw which often breaks.
This block adapter is CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum and features ports for oil temperature and oil pressure sensors. This part eliminates the factory oil filter housing so that no block adapter is needed for an oil cooler setup. With an oil cooler in place, improved oil life and lubrication to vital engine components is increased. This is perfect for those who daily drive or track race the SR20DET motor hard.
